possible, here is my solution.
I use 2 flashes 1 Sb 800 at 1/8 of Max Power, and a Sb28Dx at 1/16 of max
Power.
I use a 5th bat on the Sb 800.
Both flashes in Manual mode(I can use also The sb 800 in Ittl mode, and the
Sb28dx in Manual mode just for some fill light in)
The 2 flashes are connected by a Pc to Pc cord( 30cm/ 1 foot Cord)
The Sb28dx is fixed to the Md-10 grip with the AS-19 base that I screw to
the bottom.
Last trick I put the strap connected in only one point (Right one). That way
it's very easy and fast to take the camera for either horizontal and
vertical used.
This could also be useful to eliminate some shadows in vertical portraits
(photojournalism), or to spread some light in the celling and a side wall,
or into the celling and floor, or into the 2 side wal ( left and right),
etc...
